How do you implement a Facebook strategy for a company without breaking Facebook rules? Facebook does not allow multiple accounts and maintaining multiple accounts is deemed a violation. You cannot have a personal account and a business account.

If you are using Facebook to build a personal brand so that you are basically treating friends and clients the same, I can see how it would work.

For those of us needing to be a marketing spokesman for a company, we don't necessarily want to share the latest company events with our grandmother.

The Facebook community is full of unexplored opportunities. Facebook makes it even easier by providing tools for highly targeted marketing initiatives. The question is where do we start?

The slides provides a clear overview of the fundamentals one must understand before making any initiatives. Very helpful! Thank you for the post.

The potential Facebook has is almost limitless. I'm always excited to see what they come up with that can help businesses market their brand or product better. For some strange reason, I hadn't even thought of using Market Place. That's an excellent idea!

@ Elizabeth – the marketplace has been completely revamped – I know because the chapter I wrote first was on the marketplace and they recently completely redid it

It's true that most small business owners and marketers are not in tune with how much they can do with Facebook. It's a fantastic property to integrate with any marketing plan. A true no-brainer.
